During though time, I always look up things to makes me feel better, despite any situation I’m in at that point. I remind myself that everyone have problems; even though they never show you.
Sometimes, what makes you sad is when you compare yourself to another person. Especially in this internet era, where people post everything on social media, from their outfit to their food. You have to remember that people could choose what they want to show on their social media, and in their actual life it’s not all sweet and rainbow.
Life always reminding us about things we don’t have. Instead, we have to appreciate things that we do have. Ask yourself, what do you love about yourself? What’s your strength and what can you offer to make this world a better place? Even the tiniest bit, means something. And it’s enough. Everything you do have, they’re enough.
You don’t have to hide from yourself. Recognize what makes you feel sad, and who caused that. Get rid of people who hurt you, who speak behind your back and doesn’t support your decision. You have the right to be surrounded by people who love you as who you are. Talk to someone you trust about your feelings, it’s always good to hear advice and opinions. It may take time, but it’ll be worth it.
Celebrate every small steps you’ve taken and accomplished. Even the tiniest bit like tidying your room, finish a good book, or doing your homework. Everything worth celebrating for, even just waking up in the morning and survived another day, you deserve your favorite cup of tea or coffee to help you start your day.
